more importantly
If two teams leap the Clips and Wiz in the lottery, the Wizards now choose 4th and the Clips 5th.
well, we could pick 5 and 6
if 3 team jump into the top 3, the kings would be 4, us 5, and clips 6
But yes, that is the best part, now the worst we can pick in 5
i believe its flip flop
so we’d get the 3rd pick in round 2

Picks stay the same in round 2
so if all positions hold, we’d have the #2 pick behind Sac and before LAC

searching for omens?
hard to imagine three teams making the leap, we should come out no worse than 5.
From NBA.com
*Please note that teams that finished the regular season with identical records will select in the second round in the reverse of the order in which they select in the first round. With respect to the ties between the Los Angeles Clippers and Washington (32 and 33); Memphis and Minnesota (35 and 36); and New Jersey and Milwaukee (40 and 41): since the order of selection in the first round for each set of teams may change based on the results of the Draft Lottery, the order of selection in the second round cannot be determined until after the Draft Lottery is conducted (on May 19, 2009).
so in other words
lets hope we get the 3rd pick in round 2

Ah, didn’t know the rule was different for ties. Either way, our second round pick is also a pretty valuable pick for us. Remember, Mario Chalmers was #35 last year.

or failing that, what is the date the of the lottery.

I believe it's May 19th
Don’t quote me on it though.

2nd round pick:
The team between the Wizards and Clippers that fares worst in the draft lottery will have the 2nd pick in the 2nd round.
Seems only fair
Miss out on the opportunity to draft Griffin or Rubio – so the League gives you the chance for Jermaine Taylor or Sergio Llull
