Is That a Dagger in Your Pocket or Are You Just Happy to See Me?

Should've learned Danny Granger, Shawn.

I'm waiting for the video but...

Butler’s shot tonight coming from a Jordanesque push-off, while still spectacular, wasn’t as emphatic to me as Butler’s shot over Granger. Nevertheless, a great shot by Caron.

Is Marion’s role as one of the league’s most versatile defenders officially over? He is getting pretty old, for NBA playing standards.

Naw....not really a push off.

And it was the exact same move as against Granger…right hand dribble drive, back to front between the legs, jumper….except they were at home against the Pacers.

Sure, a hand was out there…..but Marion played the drive much more and didn’t have balance….Byron Russell got enough push from MJ to stumble.

I'm with you Stevie...

plus I think that Sacto has the ping pong ball majority sewn up regardless!

I'll third that.....

There’s no way I can call myself a true fan and not get excited in wanting the Wizards to pull out a win….and with Caron throwing daggers….bonus.

I also see where you're coming from...

I cheered for the team until the last couple minutes… Don’t get me wrong, I love my Wiz, which is why I wanted the loss.

Can’t you agree, weighing the positives and negatives of this game, that losing outweighs winning? Losing this game greatly increases our draft probabilities of getting Griffin. This game may, in fact, determine whether we get #2 or #3. The benefits of winning are only a few good feelings for a few hours. Whereas the drawbacks of winning are a greatly reduced chance of getting Griffin. We all agree that the time is NOW, as Caron said. And the only person in the draft that will make an impact NOW, is Griffin. You can’t tell me, weighing the positives and negatives of winning this game, that you’d rather win…

You always cheer for your team to win, because it helps the team, in almost any case, in the long run. However, this does not. It hurts it.

There’s no way I can convince any of you, but I am a little shocked there’s nobody feeling the same way. Think of the question, weighing the positives and negatives of this game, what helps the team in the long run?

The last thing

the last thing I want to do is start cheering for the Wizards when they miss a shot, or give up a lay up…..

It might become a habit, and I might not be able to stop myself.

Hear Hear!

Play to win. Pray for the right ping pong ball. But trust EG in any case….

Besides

Look at the Sacramento Kings… very obviously tanking. Losing their last three by over 20 points, each game.

I couldn’t root for a team that is obviously trying to lose.

That’s why I’m a Wizards fan.

I love cheering for a team that tries every night, and tries hard…. but fails. We all know why they are failing…. We all see the edge of the dark cloud at the horizon. Sunshine is coming.

Wizrds should trade Antawn Jamison and the 1st round draft pick for Chris Bosh or Amare Stoudemire.

That's very interesting

But EG just sweats Antawn too much.

Fine

if you can keep whoever you trade for.
