Remember this game

Wizards v Spurs November 12th 2005
I remember how excited I was to see this game. I was at school in Charlottesville and my Dad flew up to see this game with me. We ended up missing the first half (boy was I mad) because my dad wanted to watch the end of the Alabama v Florida football game. I arrived at halftime, and Arenas lead the Wizards from a one point deficit at the half to a 15 point victory 110-95 in true Hibachi mode with 43 points on 15 of 20. This was one of the game’s early in the 2005-2006 season where Caron Butler as 6th man lit it up (17 points in 34 minutes) and made the case to start, which he would several games later.
This may be the last time we beat the Spurs. We had Gil Antawn Caron and Haywood, and the Spurs had all of their big 3 playing. Proof that this team when healthy can do great things.

Interesting note: the Wizards owe EJ 4 million next season, but there is a contract offset contained in that agreement, so for instance if EJ gets 2 million from Sacramento next season, the Wizards would only owe him 2 million (4 million-2million)
