Open Thread: NCAA Tournament
I don't know about you, but I've gone back and forth on my bracket more this year than any other year that I can remember. Maybe it's because no team's been able to stay on the top for more than a few weeks this season and I have no idea who to trust. Maybe it's because I've been so keyed in on mid-major basketball that I just don't know enough about the big boys to make a good call. Or maybe it's just because I haven't been able to pay enough attention this year.
Anyways, here's your place to talk about all the action this weekend. Feel free to talk about who you think will cut down the nets in Detroit, what big upsets we'll see in the first round and discuss how the top draft prospects perform in the tourney.
Also, don't forget to get those picks in for Bullets Forever Bracket Madness. Head over to Comcast SportsNet to get registered and join the Bullets Forever group. Remember, we're fighting to save our dignity against Japers' Rink so we need as much help as possible.
This represents the view of the user who wrote the FanPost, and not the entire Bullets Forever community. We're a place of many opinions, not just one.

Great minds?
Let’s hope so. Or maybe it’s that living in Northwestern Virigina thing. I’ve got Pitt beating UConn 68-60.

Obama has a bracket
Apparently Obama isn’t big on upsets.

Can you tell us how you got this Jake, and is it real? If its secret, fine but I’d rather know if its real, if that’s possible?

AU
Got robbed. But still, unreal experience being there, cheering with my other classmates. Gah, if it wasn’t for lop sided calls, we would’ve made history.
Indeed
I knew AU was going to give Villanova a fight for their lives after watching them take Tennessee to the limit last year. Derrick Mercer is a stud.

Mercer is my hero-
The “midget” as Villanova fans were calling him was awesome. You could tell how bad he wanted the win from his facial expressness and the way he was fighting. I went to AU for a couple of years before leaving for MD and I feel proud of this team.
Also I know we have some VCU people on this blog – who the heck is the band leader? he was so entertaining. he wears the total package robe and jersey. he was very funny. Almost as entertaining as the game itself.
Tough loss for VCU last night
They played UCLA just about as well as they could and Maynor did everything he could to win that game, they just fell a little bit short. They’ve got nothing to be ashamed of. But now that they’re out I can finally switch my avatar colors and as you can see I’ve gone with the colors of the team that has our collective hope and joy: Blake Griffin.

Oh that one hurt me
I thought Maynor was going to step back and give himself the room to square up and hit the winning J. Still a great showing by the Rams and the Eagles.
My Final Four: Louisville, Oklahoma, Villanova, Memphis
National champ: Louisville over Oklahoma.
Did anyone else watch a lot of Kansas-North Dakota State. I thought Gus Johnson was a little overboard in his praise of Ben Woodside but I will tell you this, I was supremely impressed. I would love to see how he does in workouts. What a player!

Baffled
I really don’t understand how ETSU has managed to keep it close with Pitt. Their shooting stats look awful and Blair/Young look like they’re taking care of things on the boards. Hope I get to see more of Young because he looks like a guy who would be an interesting early 2nd guy.
Other guys I have my eyes on today (if not for draft possibilities then just because they’re entertaining):
Terrence Williams, Louisville
James Johnson, Wake Forest
Evan Turner, Ohio State
DeMar DeRozan, USC
You think that's baffling
Wisconsin 61, Florida State 59 (OT) is a lot harder to understand for me.
