This is probably going to come as bad news to most of you, but I have a really good feeling that the Wizards won't be losing to the Kings tonight. Sure, a loss would help the Wizards get more ping-pong ball that would help their chances of getting Blake Griffin, but I think there are just too many factors working against us tonight.
Consider the following:
- The Kings are coming off an overtime loss to the Cavaliers on Friday night.
- The Kings had to fly all the way across the country yesterday to get here after a crushing loss in which players logged more minutes than they normally do.
- The Wizards this season have traditionally played well in losses against good teams before breaking through with a wins against a bad teams. Friday's close loss to Orlando would fit the billing of part 1 of that cycle.
- Donté Greene and Bobby Jackson aren't going through some issues at the moment.
Of course, I'm also wrong about most of these things, so take that for what it's worth.
