Rubio
Here a link: http://www.nbadraft.net/players/ricky-rubio
This kid would be a great, wise use of our inevitable lottery pick. For once we would have true pg on this team. I deeply feel that drafting a player who has a set position would be a great move for this organization. Please don't draft another combo guard/ swingman / might be able to play the 4 sometimes. I'm sick of watching a group of young players that resembles this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-01PZ5hq8YY, I'd rather the verizon center be used to showcase Christ on Ice, with Seal, (they are touring).
Rubio
Arenas
Butler
Jamison
Haywood
w/
Mcgee Young and Mcquire coming off the pine.
If we trade Jamison at the deadline, then theres a case for Griffin, but even then I feel Rubio would help the Wizards tremendously.
I like Griffin a ton, but we need a court leader, and have you not seen how Rudy Fernandez has helped Portland out this year.
Can Mcgee get some quality time.
Please trade Etan Thomas, Songaila, keep Pech for comedy, get rid of James at the deadline, and figure out what you want to do with Javaris (I'm sure he'd appreciate it as well).
Theres no direction for this team, no incentive, no goals, no purpose. We are not developing our young players. I want 0 starts at center for Songaila the remainder of my life.
When is Gilbert coming back? I cannot believe that there is still no date. Is there a time when he is going to start practicing again? Any news on this, because I can't find anything clear. How come our best player, the face of our franchise, so on, so on...., and there' nothing on him, no one is pushing for answers or what?
I am aware this post is horribly incoherant and I apologize.

That's the current thinking
He supposedly told another player (Jennings?) that he was not coming out until 2010. He’s also got a VERY large buy out on his Spanish contract – somewhere around $9 Million Euros ($11 Million US).

Exactly......Abe is not ponying up the loot to buy this cat out anyhow.
We wouldn’t take him #1 anyway.

Would We Consider Him at #2?
If that is the way the ping pong balls bounce for us and Griffin is already off of the board?

Actually
With the Wizards tax situation, the perfect scenario would be to draft Rubio and leave him overseas for a year or two…. like they did with Juan Carlos Navarro.
They would retain his rights, but he wouldn’t count on their roster, Tax or salary cap space.
But like I said before, he has indicated that he won’t declare for the Draft until 2010 – so it’s a moot point.

Do you have a recent link
Indicating that he won’t come out? The last thing I read on him (a couple of weeks ago, but I can’t remember where I saw it) was saying that he probably WOULD come out.
Getting buckets since 2003.

Here you go

And DraftExpress says:
Rubio himself reportedly told Brandon Jennings (possibly in a photo shoot for Slam magazine?) that he expects to wait until the 2010 draft, at least according to Jennings himself.

If you have something more recent
I’d sure like to see it… It’d be great if Rubio came out this year. At least that way, the Wizards would have a better shot at a potential All-Star type player…
It’s my opinion that, of all the players I’ve seen that may declare for this year’s draft, only Blake Griffin and Rubio have the talent to to be All-Stars some day. Everyone else fits into the “solid Starter”, or “rotation” type player.

Interesting.....
Never been done with a lottery pick, but there’s gotta be a first, right?

I wouldn't mind Greg Monroe
as a project if we decide to rebuild. He’s not the most polished guy in the class, but he’s unselfish and the upside is tremendous.

Would He Be Any Better Than McGee?
If not, wouldn’t he be redundant?

And would he be any different than Blatche?

He plays a different position than Mcgee
and I think he’s way more talented than both of those guys.

I haven't watched a lot of G'Town games
And weight to the accusation that he takes plays off?
Don’t ya’ll wish you could put Hansbrough’s heart in a lot of cats? I do.
