Trade Proposal From Bulls Fan

This trade could benefit both teams. It would go down maybe a week after Mike Miller gets back from injury. Here is the trade:

Loul Deng

For

Mike Miller

Loul Deng would fill in with the Wizards at the 2 possition, or you could switch Caron Butler at the 2 and put Loul Deng as small forward since he is bigger than Butler. You guys need some one that could play shooting guard and Deng is it, and he is doind really well this season. He just came back from injury and is fresh.(18.5pts / 8rebs / 1blk)

Mike Miller would bring the Bulls the much needed long range shot. They don't have any and Cap room for 2010.

Tell me what you think of this trade and if you would want Loul Deng.

Deng is..

Deng is young and he is playing really well. He could be a 20pt 8rb guy the rest of the contract.

and it’s not a slight against deng, i like him, but on the wiz with butler he’s a bit redundant.
miller actually has a harder to find skill set, i think.

honestly… you could sell me on deng/butler before you could sell me on deng/miller

Sure in the long run it would turn out to be butler + negative value player/high salary for deng + positive value player but im sure people will be calling for my head after suggesting something like this.

I’d be more interested in trading Caron Butler for Luol Deng. Nice upgrade defensively. More rebounding. Deng’s offensive game, namely his movement off the ball, is a much better fit for Flip Saunders offense. So system wise good too.

Then start Mike Miller alongside Deng. Those two would be a nice combination. Nice mix of offensive skills.
