Another reason to hate the Cavs. Shaq/Gil related.

ima preface this by saying that this is gonna be very TMZish, but here's another reason to hate the cavs, one way or the other.

http://bossip.com/175849/bossip-exclusive-one-nba-player-is-cheating-with-another-nba-players-pregnant-fiancee/

Apparently, Shaq has been sleeping around with Gil's babymama. for the last 5 years. That's just ridiculous. I hope this doesnt mess Gil's head up this season. I already hated Shaq (I was a big Penny fan, and when he bolted to LA, it became a life long reason to cheer against him), but this one just is wrong on so many levels that i hate him even more, and not even in a professional sports way anymore, just in general.

if this is true, bets about jumping on tramps between these two have prolly wont be as much as they were in the past.

This represents the view of the user who wrote the FanPost, and not the entire Bullets Forever community. We're a place of many opinions, not just one.

Yeah

Here’s the exclusive story link, broke by YBF.

Could be true, could not be, but it isn’t surprising if true.

Jeez

The Cavs must think the wiz are a freakin joke…

That’s pretty much the generally accepted school of thought throughout the NBA.

This is trolling

You’re on a Wizards blog. You don’t write these things.

If you were invited to someone’s house and told them their house was the joke of the neighborhood, do you think you’d be able to stick around?

You know you'll get devoured by Cheaney, Wallace, and Juwan Howard.

by Mike Prada on Nov 18, 2009 10:51 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

Why Would That Be, Max?

There are a lot of NBA teams that haven’t made the playoffs in 4 of the last 5 seasons. Wouldn’t those teams be more joke-worthy? Why exactly are the Wizards a joke? And who made you an authority on the “school of thought throughout the NBA”?

Seriously, if you’re going to come trolling, then at least throw out a few facts to back up your poorly informed opinion.

you don’t need to have a middle-eastern or arabic-sounding last name to have arab blood or whatever. The point is gilbert can do better than an ugly gold-digging bitch. also gotta feel sorry for the kids, their mom is a ho

Agreed

She does not seem that attractive to me but the racial angle of your comment is uncalled for. Also, persian women are smoking hot.

Uh, did you read the TMZ story?

It says that it is all about money. If even TMZ isn’t willing to throw out juicy details, then you KNOW there is no credibility behind the statements.

Looks like a confirm. Hopefully it won’t affect Gilbert’s play.

This Could Be the Answer

To a lot of questions about Gilbert’s game this season. He looks completely off shooting the ball. Hopefully he can get over this and move on with his life and his game.

Gilbert's main problem is being played too many minutes

he shouldn’t play more than 32 minutes a game but due to injuries he’s playing WAY too many minutes.

by BayAreaBullet on Nov 11, 2009 6:21 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

Really?

I’m not sure that explains things like poor free throw shooting and poor FG%. More than likely he still just needs to find his shot generally.

Its true that the minutes could explain the TOs to some degree though.

by Manimal Smith on Nov 11, 2009 6:44 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

and shooting

lack of conditioning and not having your legs at full strength is one of if not the biggest culprit in poor shooting(when talking about a former good shooter struggling). When your not getting the same lift on your jump your FG% suffers. Plus fatigue always plays a factor in missing FT’s though I don’t think thats all to blame there. I think if we could bring Arenas’s minutes down his shooting percentages would increase.

by BayAreaBullet on Nov 11, 2009 7:37 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

I'm all for getting his minutes down

Once we have options 3,4,and 5 back from injury …

by Manimal Smith on Nov 11, 2009 8:16 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

agreed

there is nothing to be done about it right now due to injuries. It really sucks though I was hoping that all our depth would allow us to reduce GA and CB’s minutes so they can stay healthier and be more productive but alas it is not meant to be.

Talk about making up a reason to hate the Cavs...

Consider the sources, people. You honestly think a website called “Young, Black, and Fabulous” has ANY credibility? Hey, anything to avoid looking at the product the Wiz are putting on the floor, huh?

If this story is true (which any thinker should HIGHLY doubt), then Cavs fan should really be loving Shaq! He took the rivalry to the next level by bangin’ the Wiz’s “star” player’s fiance!

BTW, if this is true, then Arenas would know FOR SURE. Gil is a tiny man….Shaq is, well, not. If Shaq’s Alabama Blacksnake had been running up in this chick for 5 years, its surely ruined for tiny lil Gil.

Ha....

You, sir, are a funny man!!!
But seriously, this appears to be more of something to get a response from wizards fans than a legitimate opinion. I’m not sure if it counts as “trolling” but it seems to be in poor taste.

by Young Hovey on Nov 19, 2009 11:37 AM EST up reply actions   0 recs

Gil is Actually Quite Big for a Point Guard

He’s 6’4", 215 lbs. So I’m not sure exactly what you meant when you called him “tiny”. Care to elaborate? Do you know something we don’t? Care to explain how?

For the record

Laura was there tonight in her usual spot, so maybe all is well. Thought I saw her in the locker room too, but I might be wrong about that.

You know you'll get devoured by Cheaney, Wallace, and Juwan Howard.

by Mike Prada on Nov 19, 2009 12:29 PM EST reply actions   0 recs

That means about zero IMO

First she’s pregnant, so there is one huge reason for him to to help keep her together emotionally. With a baby in the womb, a mother’s emotional state is, aside from obvious stuff like proper prenatal medical care and avoiding cigs drugs and alcohol, by far the most important controllable factor in determining the health of the baby. I know that from first hand experience.

I’m aware they struggled as a couple in the past, and probably during some portion of either of the first two pregnancies, so maybe they learned the same lesson my wife and I did?

Second, any change in behavior (fiancee being absent from games being a very noticeable one) would only serve to add fuel to the story, which I’m sure Gil (and Shaq, and Laura, and Shaunie) would like to quietly fade into the pack pages of the tabloids…

by jones-y on Nov 20, 2009 12:19 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

And third, Gil couldn’t stop Laura from being there (and probably not in the lockerroom either) even if he wanted to… And its in her best interest to do whatever she can to salvage what’s left in any way she can.

Anyway, I feel bad for everyone involved, whether or not its true.

by jones-y on Nov 20, 2009 12:24 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

Right, I don't know if it changes anything

Just feel like it was worth mentioning.
