Around SBN: Can Tebow Say No To Anything?

"He can't get the logo [Hall of Famer Jerry West's silhouette adorns the NBA's logo], and if he can't, something has to be done. I feel like no NBA player should wear 23. I'm starting a petition, and I've got to get everyone in the NBA to sign it. Now, if I'm not going to wear No. 23, then nobody else should be able to wear it."

LeBron James on why NBA players should give up the #23. He was doing such a good job of not sounding obnoxious up until that last sentence.

What a guy!

Nice to see Lebron taking up the cause for the disadvantaged and downtrodden.

He always has to

Find a way to sound like a conceited, obnoxious, jerk.

I hope to god -

he never ever wins a championship. He;s already such a jerk – what will happen if he wins? Then again maybe his head will get so big that it explodes which would suit me just fine.

I'm gonna go ahead and guess

that he’s got it in the back of his mind that if he can rip West off the logo, that someday he will be on the logo himself.

Hey LBJ, shut up and go win something. Even the Bullets have a title.

I can't believe that all of you are missing the point

When LeBron retires, he wants the NBA to retire his number. So (1) he starts the movement to have Jordan’s number retired, and (2) he switches his number so that his number can be retired solely on the basis of his greatness, not any reference to Jordan’s greatness.

Right? It seemed obvious to me.
