The injuries stink, but there's no need to panic
According to a chart on this article (which has nothing to do with the Wizards, except for the chart), the Wizards have had the second toughest schedule in the league so far, according to opponents' winning percentage. That, combined with all the injuries, should help explain the poor record. But none of these injuries are long term, and there's plenty of bad teams left on our schedule, so it really should only get better from here. Anyway, until it does start to get better, we've got the Capitals to watch and the Redskins to give us perspective about how bad a 2-6 record really can be lol.
Related to that article, though, too bad for Byron Scott. I did not see that one coming. Yet another young talented coach (along with Sam Mitchell and Avery Johnson) without a job. Teams do not hesitate to pull the trigger these days, do they?

Good point
The Wizards’ schedule has been rough, as compared to Miami, who have had a zillion home games.

How could you not see it coming with Byron Scott
I happen to like him and hope he gets a coaching job again. But that 50-something point loss to Denver was a huge “We quit on our coach” sign from the Hornets. I thought he was getting fired after the playoffs last year.
So does this mean I should cancel the voodoo priestess I was planning to order?

Tonight
We just lost to a 4-4 team at home with one of our starters back. I thought the tough schedule was to blame for our poor start last season, but sometimes losing just means that you suck. Right now, I think we suck.
