New Blog: Once A Metro covering Red Bull New York!

Ok. This is just hilarious. A few thoughts: It's kind of funny. I mean, the media gets in a frenzy when he speaks a lot (off the wall comments, blogging, et cetera), and the media gets in a frenzy when he doesn't speak at all. Perhaps he should be somewhere in the middle? Gil isn't a middle of the road guy, and we know he's quite extreme (hence the need to contain how much/hard he works on a bad knee). I can just picture the whole locker room making a fuss out of this - Jamison and Haywood poking fun at the whole situation - it just made me laugh. Gil's trying to prove a point. There was so much controversy and hoopla-over-nothin' about his blog and comments, so he decided to prove a point: shut the hell up. And, he gets fined, and the media is even more obsessed with him. Irony or just damn hilarity, whatever you want to call it. But the whole situation makes me laugh. Maybe he regrets that fridge/microwave purchase, after losing $25k.
