I disagree emphatically with President Obama on many things...
…but he is absolutely correct saying that Washingtonians can’t handle a little snow. DC area and the entire mid-atlantic actually just can’t handle a little ice and snow. Grew up in MD and would always get a few hours delays at minimum.
Moved out to west Michigan (Chris Kaman rocks! :-) where it pretty much snows every day (lake effect) and it is such a non-issue. Now I’m back in the mid-atlantic (DE) and the driving absolutely SUCKS there are so many reros out there in cars they should be banned from the road if it even drizzles!!!
