Well looks like more minutes for JaVale.

[UPDATE]: Wizards Insider has more info.

This quote seems encouraging, no?:
Stevenson added that his back problems will likely remain for the rest of his career. [facetious]

Wow

The Wizards’ center position is like Spinal Tap’s drummer.

Watch out Javale (knock wood).

hahahahaha

I’m sorry, but I can’t help but laugh at this. Blatche is one of my favorite players league-wide, but this is just hilarious. McGee’s what, our fourth-string center? Fifth-string? At the rate we’re going, Caron’s going to be forced to slide down to the five by the end of the season.

you never know

they might start playing their guards at center.

Blatche out

does not = more mcgee at center. Blatche out = Songaila at center.

Hip Hip Hooray!!

But really, D-Song can’t play 48 minutes…..and Blatche has been getting a lot more run lately. So yes, this will mean more time at center for JaVale.

I'm hoping...

That Mike James goes down next with a knee strain…

That's a joke...

For those of you with no sense of humor (just want to head off the flames coming my way).

I'm a little more worried

by Tap’s “I’m a big fan of DeShawn Stevenson” comment. See you next season Javaris!

Oh, and also having Stevenson play in back-to-back games immediately after coming back is just asking for him to aggravate that injury.

The next thing I am going to say is awful . . .

why couldn’t have this been Songaila.
