I will be there tonight
Hopefully I’ll bring some good luck. I have been to 3 games each of the last two seasons. They went 2-1 in those games both years. The two losses being the Houston game last year and the Steve Francis buzzer beater game 2 seasons ago. I was also at the historic Golden State game where they won on 3 Arenas free throws with 0.1 on the clock 2 seasons ago. This is my first game this season. They did’nt suck this bad the last 2 seasons but ya never know what can happen.
I almost don't care who wins
I mean, obviously I want the Wizards to win, but the last game between these two was perhaps the worst pro basketball game I’ve ever seen. Here’s hoping for a better outing from both sides tonight.
I think I'm giving up-
I can’t even stomach going to the game. At least at home, I can watch football too and switch channels.
MCGEEEEEEE

First Quarter Thoughts
- A few early plays aside, I really like Blatche’s level of activity so far. And as Phil pointed out, he learned from his early mistake of letting Okafor get too far inside.
- After last night I would’ve liked to see NY as the first guard off the bench, but Crittenton is certainly better than Dixon.
- Maybe McGee didn’t take that shot (and passed to Songaila) because he wants to play again before February.
- McGee’s no Zach Randolph.
- 71% shooting is a.) great, and b.) unsustainable.
i like this

Comcast question of the night
Why has Javale McGees playing time been limited? HA!

The New Segment
"Tapscott likes to break the season into seven-game segments and the Wizards completed the last one with Wednesday’s home loss to Toronto.
During the last segment, the Wizards went 3-4 and guard Juan Dixon and rookie center JaVale McGee saw little or no action, but Tapscott indicated that would change before facing the Bulls.
“This is one of those times where I’ll take a look at another guy or two,” Tapscott said. “Because you have to have a successful segment to stand pat. We had a chance for a winning segment, but we didn’t so you have to look for other answers. I told some of the guys who haven’t a had chance in a while to be ready.”

When I first read this-
I thought this was a joke. Nope, this is really how our coach thinks
Well
Now we know that Tap is either crazy or just a liar. Cuz a guy who wants to play his vets does not go with this line-up we saw earlier: Critt, Young, Songaila, Blatche, and JM.
I thought it looked pretty good though. Think about that as a possible second unit next year? Pretty solid. Though some of those guys should be in the starting 5. I like Blatche at the 4, and I like DSong backing up the 3.
Crittenton
I’ve been impressed with Javaris’ defense in the last several games. There seems to be less penetration by the opponent PG when he’s in the game. He also seems to be pretty pesky, getting his hands on balls, and disrupting the flow of the opponent offense.
Bullets Forever - where "Dagger ! " happens......
he's already at least as valuable to this particular
edition of the wiz than daniels was

ET told the comcast guys -
that Javale played well and brought a lot of energy so one would think he’ll back in soon. But then again this is the wizards we are talking about and they haven’t made a lot of sense lately
side note
props to raja bell for making himself into such an effective player from scrub-like roots

at least the young guys are logging minutes
but we did turn it over twice in a row, and nick young almost turned it over twice in the same possession

More the same wiz -
Your name is very apt right now
i fear it'll be for the foreseeable future
i haven’t heard Grunfeld or Pollin articulate an overarching strategy or any ideas at all whether it be continuing to hope a healthy team can contend, or recognizing certain needs that we intend to fill through free agency and trade and getting started on that path

Blatche is starting his drives from the three point line
thats a little too much dribbling for him, keeps losing control of the ball
and leading
in crushing defeats

Really
How many times am I gonna let this team break my heart.
Seems like
Everyone else has something better to do on a Saturday night than watch heartbreaking defeats.
Gonna watch some football that I don’t care about at all.
