Worse Than Dealing With Arenas' Knee Injury?
When I saw the headline run across the bottom line last night, "McGrady says arthritic shoulder needs surgery," I was a little shocked.
Arthritic shoulder? Really? McGrady is less than three years older than Gilbert, and he's already experiencing ailments reserved for the broken hip and early bird special ward.
Of course, Arenas is far from being out of the woods with his knee problems....but I suppose Houston and DC can be empathetic towards each others injury woes.
I'd be really surprised if T-Mac played more than 65 games this season.

I empathize -
Not only with the injury situation but also with both our teams having trouble moving past the first round. I am skeptical that Yao will last a whole season and then add in head case Ron Artest and it will be an interesting season over there. On paper they have so much talent but hearing news like this already about McGrady makes me question how it will all work.

i feel bad for him
less so for the rockets. he’s had issues with his back for years. buyer beware.

Trades
If Houston has a bad year, perhaps they’d be interested in re-tooling …. either after the season, or before next year’s trade deadline -
I liked Prafmaster’s trade scenario to pick up Shane Battier and Chuck Hayes.
