I could write up one of my own, but this pretty much covers everything, although I think the Flip Saunders thing is much ado about nothing.

uber-fan?

Funny. I just try to bring content. Why waste time typing if you don’t have an opinion. Actually I’m a huge Dave Johnson fan, he’s a direct tincan-on-a-string connection to Team officials.

Can’t type worth crap -LOL- but he’s absolved entirely since he can describe the action faster than most people can think it..

For real though: I haven’t found anyone more responsive to fans in the entire business. If you come up with a good question guaranteed he’ll get in someone’s ear about it. So those of you who have complaints that you wish the Coaches would address, feel free to drop DJ a line and get your subliminal suggestions implanted in their consciousness.

(I think that’s the first and only documented time I’ve used the message board acronym signifying jolly laughter. A collector’s item, like an alternate cover on a rare Spider-man reprint…)

Dave is truly a gem

Met him one time while I was working for Comcast. He probably doesn’t remember me, but he’s really nice.

You know you'll get devoured by Cheaney, Wallace, and Juwan Howard.

You're right on that Doc

I need to start submitting questions to him more…which I have done.

I’d also like to give some props to Dave Johnson’s radio tag partner, Glen Consor. I need to listen to the radio post-game call-in show more often…..those are always good and he handles the callers well.

I’ll catch the radio show in-game sometimes if I’m cooking or whatnot and can’t watch the screen the whole time. And it used to be when I was Cable-free (a decade ago or so) I’d catch the radio feed devotedly. Dave Johnson does a great job.

What’s even cooler though is that they run an in-game blog during commercials and whatnot and respond to questions immediately. If you want your question in the coaches’ ear right after the game, etc, that’s the best chance you’ve got.

Glens good too, he’s not immune to stats, which is a net positive..
