Around SBN: The Worst Team Ever Projected?

Pre-weekend open thread: Things to watch in training camp

Training camp is just around the corner and I can't even begin to describe my level of excitment.  This year's camp is going to be interesting for so many reasons.  There aren't really any starting jobs up for grabs, but there are so many questions to answer even before the news of Gilbert Arenas' injury.

So I ask you, the readers, what you think the biggest questions that need to be answered during training camp.  Make a list and discuss in the comments.

First thing that comes to mind....

Is who are the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd players off the bench.

Yea, one has to be a backcourt player....

But I’m not sold on Young being that guy.

I guess training camp will decide whether it will be him or Dixon….or even Brown……or which combo of those three will be responsible for bench guard play.

It’s all about Nick Young and Andray Blatche in my mind. How much have they improved and how much can they add to this Wizards squad.

I second NBR's post

And add that I hope McGuire can show that he can give Butler relief at the 3 spot.
And that leads to the biggest thing I am worried about which we won’t know until we get in the season and that’s the workload EJ will put on Jamison and Butler.

And I'll third it...

If we project a second unit of PG: D.Brown / A. Daniels, SG: N. Young, SF: D. McGuire, PF: A. Blatche and C: E. Thomas, who’s going to put up the points? Just another way of saying Young and Blatche must step up or no lead will be safe.

Well

One of Caron and Antawn will likely be in the game at all times.

You know you'll get devoured by Cheaney, Wallace, and Juwan Howard.

Quite right

although the larger point stands. No points from Blatche or Young off the bench and it’s going to be a long year.

Fourth

And if Young, McGuire and Blatche don’t step up, then Eddie Jordan will ride his horses into the ground again (Stevenson, Daniels, Jamison and Butler).
