Ivan sez: Wizards "close" to signing Juan Dixon
He says the contract will only be partially guaranteed (much like Dee Brown's) so the former Wizard isn't a lock to make the team by any means, but it's looking like both parties are willing to give it another go around.
UPDATE: It's official. Welcome back Juan.

Bleh
Honestly, not all that enthused, but at least it’s somebody. I’d have preferred Quinton Ross.
You know you'll get devoured by Cheaney, Wallace, and Juwan Howard.

I like it.....
As I’ve said before, three point shooting out of the backcourt was a pretty big concern for me…Dixon fills that role.
Sure we need to improve on D, but we also need to adhere to our strengths. Ross’ negatives outweigh Dixon’s positives.I’m not necessarily arguing against Ross…….and who knows?…..perhaps he just wasn’t an option for one reason or another.
And if Jordan & Grunfeld like what they see out of DerMarr, the D-League is always an option (McGee) for roster flexibility.
I guess what I’m saying is that I’m trusting Grunfeld on these minor personnel moves.
