Okay, so no one was actually chomping at the bit to remember Kevin Duckworth.

Alas, I couldn't resist.....the memories of the big fella and his time with the Bullets weren't anything to write home about, but they were something to write a blog entry about.

So here's to the Duck, one of the many curiosities of our franchise's past, may he rest in peace.

Poor Duck. That was a really well written, depressing article. I have hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, so I am curious to know if Duck was aware that he had the condition. Being overweight and having high blood pressure is a deadly mix with that.

Oh no he didn't

Terrible quote about someone who just died from an enlarged heart:
. Current Blazers team president, Larry Miller, remembers Duckworth “as one of the warmest and biggest- hearted.”

Nice post. Like most Bullet fans I was unhappy with Duckworth’s production while he was here. But at least he tried to deal with his weight issues and seemed genuinely upset with himself about his performance.
Its sad that he died so young.

Well...in all fairness...

Miller said that before the medical examiner’s report came out.
