The official deal has Mo Williams going to the Cavs, Damon Jones' expiring contract, Luke Ridnour and Adrian Griffin to the Bucks and Joe Smith's and Desmond Mason's expiring contracts going to Oklahoma City.

Wow, what a dumb trade for Milwaukee. Ridnour's basically a poor-man's Williams and Jones and Griffin won't do anything for them. Cleveland takes on a lot of salary, but Williams fits in quite well next to LeBron. They officially scare me.

If I had to rank the East, I'd put Cleveland second ahead of Detroit.

This scares me.

We all know Mo Williams, perhaps more than Damon Jones, is a Wizards killer.

I guess the Bucks wanted to save money and are content with Ramon Sessions and Tyronn Lue at the point.

Then don't trade for Richard Jefferson

That’s what I don’t get. If they really wanted to rebuild, keep Yi and hope he develops into something. Now, they still have no power forward and they’ve jettisoned one of their most productive players for practically nothing. They gained no additional cap room because Jones’ contract is being swapped for Mason’s.

Maybe I’m just upset because I saw Milwaukee as a good trading partner for pawning off Songaila’s contract.

You know you'll get devoured by Cheaney, Wallace, and Juwan Howard.

getting RJ for what they had to give up was pretty much a steal for the bucks and he’s young enough (27) that you hope you can still win a couple years down the road with him. but yeah, williams was a pretty good player and i dont get why they didnt give that team a couple of weeks. you can always make this trade some other time…

One good thing about this deal

Is that suddenly Cleveland needs a perimeter-shooting big off the bench who can space the floor for LeBron. Maybe we can dump Songaila off on them.

Mo Williams

Yep, the Cavs just picked up a bona fide Wizard killer.

Luke for Etan?!

Why would you ever want to make this trade? Luke is terrible and Etan has much more value than him, especially for this team…
