Reggie Miller, the almost Washington Bullet

In doing some research for another thing, I came across the excerpt below from Reggie Miller's 1995 book, "I Love Being the Enemy."

Not long after I got to Indianapolis, I heard that Washington was going to trade Jeff Malone, who was playing for them at the time, to Denver for Fat Lever, and then they were going to pick me.

So, who knows what would have happened if Reggie slipped to the 11th pick in the 1987 NBA Draft. But he didn't. The Pacers took Miller at 10 and the Bullets went with Mugsy Bogues at 11....the rest is history.

Yo! This represents the view of the user who wrote the FanPost, and not the entire Bullets Forever community. We're a place of many opinions, not just one.
