Staying pat?
Our free agent options are dwindling. Magette is gone. James Jones is gone. Posey is not going to come here for the same money as L.A. or Boston will offer. Pietris is gone. Ellis and Barnes will sign with G.S. Turiaf is gone. Najarra is gone.
Kwame Brown is available? Oh, that’s right. He can’t rebound or score.
In other news, Mario Chalmers continues to impress. I think we missed a real opportunity in passing on him.

We any of those guys on our radar in the first place?
Posey and Barnes, yes.
But definitely not Maggette, JJ, and Ellis…..
Pietrus was slightly out of our range.
I’m betting the Lakers match for Turiaf for $4 million a year, that’s Kobe’s boy.
And I doubt Ernie would go after the Big Mexican unless others on the team were moved.

Where is Najera gone to?
You know you'll get devoured by Cheaney, Wallace, and Juwan Howard.

You have to look at the source
Bartelstein is just trying to create buzz for his clients. The fact that he “talked” to the Heat about them, then told a newspaper about it, means nothing about the Heat’s level of “interest”.
