Boy, I’m sure glad Gilbert left $16 million on the table. That really helped put us over the top. NOT! And we got beat on a deal to get a guy for just one year at the vet’s minimum? Dude. Complacency is bad.

Surprised?

Is anyone really surprised that the Suns got him for the minimum? This happens every year with these perennial playoff and title contenders like Phoenix, SA, Miami (with Shaq) Dallas and on. The Wiz aren’t seen as in the same class. We probably could have offered Barnes 3Mil and he could have picked Phoenix anyway.

I take this as good news in that we’ll get a rotation player for the minimum because there isn’t much else out there.
