They need better frontcourt backups
That’s their Achilles Heel, which is why I don’t really get going after Posey. I guess he replaces Bonzi in the rotation, but that money may have been better spent on a big like Diop or Kurt Thomas.
Posey is still going to help them though. Perfect player for their offense.

This signing makes perfect sense. They were close last year and this is the guy who might be the final cog (assuming CP3 and West continue to improve). Sure it’s a lot of money, but it’s worth the (small) gamble. When you are close you have to take a few chances.
