and still young. Takes up space and will clog the middle. Effective board man and mobile for a huge kid.

You know what else is crazy? The idea that Beno Udrih will get someone’s full MLE. I’m glad I’m not going to be that team.

Same thing happened last year. Then Denver and Portland both balked at paying Steve Blake to the full MLE. Every mid-major FA is saying he’s going to get it.

I think the same thing happens with Udrih, unless the Clippers step. Its an upset pick but Mike Dunleavy loves spending Sterling’s cash.

I actually like Diop too. maybe its because he is what he is. You don’t sign him thinking he will turn into something else. He’ll defend the rim, rebound and hustle. If we had room/money I’d take him as a backup here. Not for the full MLE but he might get that. Darko got 7 and Varajeo got over 5M last year.
