Just about to say that

Way to re-affirm that rep Jordan!

yeah, but Jordan and LB together?

I wouldn’t wanna be on that roster next season. There Wil Be Blood.

by Pryme on Jun 26, 2008 9:29 PM EDT to parent up   0 recs

Ummmm,

But that means Orlando can get a really good player. That’s all we need – the rich get richer

then it's a good thing they play in a city

where the temptation to party on the beach all the time is so strong.

Never fear

They could still take DeAndre! Then the whole division would be screwing itself!

This Bobcats draft reeks of a Michael Jordan production.

by MikeMid on Jun 26, 2008 9:29 PM EDT   0 recs

Alright!

McRoberts got traded too. Hell yeah.

You know you'll get devoured by Cheaney, Wallace, and Juwan Howard.

by Pradamaster on Jun 26, 2008 9:29 PM EDT   0 recs

Ernie is basically saying, “if you aren’t going to get immediate help, swing for the fences.”

He also continues the theory behind Blatche and Pech, get as many skilled beig men as you can. This kid is going to be legit…

in the D League next year.

Hah

Exactly.

I'm tired of these "skilled" big men being rail thin.

Read about Sir Propolo please Ernie! Homework assignment for next year.

A Josh McRoberts sighting, Nice One on that one Coach K

I need to do a blog post on former players sucking as GMs

this sucks

Chalmers and Arthur are going to key rotation guys for a good playoff team

Silver lining

Jerryd Bayless is very amusing because it appears he is only partially wearing his pacers hat as a solution to this whole being traded thing.

of course

Vince Carter’s a hard-nosed, clutch tough-guy. Didn’t ya know?

Yeah

I thought that was pretty ridiculous.

When reading about McGee on draft express

I start to like him a little bit more.

Skills remind me of Rasheed Wallace.

I don't know...I'm looking at the "weaknesses" and

•Extremely weak physically
• Poor fundamentals
• Footwork/Post-moves
• Decision making (guess he won’t have the ball in his hands much)
• Basketball IQ (i.e., stupid)
• Atrocious defender (He’ll fit right in!)
• Poor activity level/Doesn’t hustle
• Mental/Physical toughness?
• Soft?
• Long ways away from contributing
• High bust potential

Yikes, ya’ll…just…Yikes.

by Pryme on Jun 26, 2008 9:42 PM EDT to parent up   0 recs

Yea, but

I went from not liking him at all….to a little bit more. I’m still skeptical.

Paxson sucks
Mullin sucks
MJ sucks
Danny Ferry sucks
McHale sucks
Isiah Thomas was decent drafter but awful GM
Kerr looks bad so far but jury is still out

Chad Ford rips the pick

I’m not a huge fan of this pick, especially with a proven guy like Darrell Arthur on the board. McGee is a physical specimen, very long and athletic, and he has some skills. But he’s very soft and looks like he’s years away. He reminds me of Andray Blatche.

D@mn!!!! From Espn Insider

by LoneWiz54 on Jun 26, 2008 9:40 PM EDT   0 recs

I wonder why exactly is he considered "soft"

Just because he doesn’t have strength? Or is he not hard nosed.

Kid can run and seems to have pick and pop-ability….and can block shots. Nice lower body strength is not too shabby.

Hey, I’m just trying to look at the positives.

Give him credit..

DraftExperss has a big write up on his workout and he has put on 8 pounds of muscle sent the end of school. So he knows he has to get stronger and tougher. But if you look at the film of him you can see he is not a physical player down low. But being able to block shots like he shows can not be taught.

by LoneWiz54 on Jun 26, 2008 9:49 PM EDT to parent up   0 recs

Like I said earlier...the guy can block shots..

then you go from there. You just have to trust the body of work EG has done. This guy has a lot of physical skills and this team surely needed a shot blocker. But I do feel the guy is very soft.

Ernie is taking the Nationals approach. All new talent report directly to the minors.

He should be watching tapes of Tyson Chandler daily.

by Jheiser3 on Jun 26, 2008 9:49 PM EDT   0 recs

Uh.....

Hopefully not Tyson Chandler without Chris Paul….

NBA Draft .net gives him an Andrew Bynum best scenario.

Representing DC with Wizards & Stuff - Truth About It Dot Net

by Truth About It on Jun 26, 2008 9:52 PM EDT to parent up   0 recs

Tyson Chandler without Chris Paul is plenty god enough for the 18th pick. Bynum is a big boy. This kid will never hold that kind of weight. Chandler or Camby would fit nicely, eventually.

by Jheiser3 on Jun 26, 2008 10:30 PM EDT to parent up   0 recs

Maybe we'll trade down with Sacto
18 for #42 & #43

Then we can draft Chalmers, Weaver, and Hendrix in the second round.
