Congrats to the Celtics on a fine year and championship #17. When it comes to the Celtics-Lakers rivalry, I'd say that I'm more inclined to root for the Lake Show, but throughout these finals I couldn't help but root for this team. There's no doubt that in my mind that this was the best team all season, and they emphatically proved it last night.
The thing that impressed me most about this team was that even though each player had flaws, when they put it all together, the team as a whole was flawless. Sure there were some bumps in the road, but no team was more complete than Boston this year. When you're that complete, you're going to be able to beat teams of all shapes and sizes. Check out their records against each team in the league this season:
- Atlanta: 7-3 (.700)
- Charlotte: 3-1 (.750)
- Chicago: 4-0 (1.000)
- Cleveland: 6-5 (.545)

After bringing something like this up, it would easy (and fun) to jump to overzealous conclusions, but I'm going to refrain for everyone's decency. Instead, I'll just echo the words of wise man Kevin Garnett who said "ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE!!!"
