Open thread: Regular season game 78

Sorry for the lack of posting in the last couple days.  It's been a bit of a struggle recently, but nothing that is going to affect posting in the future.

I'm putting this up so you can make your picks and begin the discussion.  I'm working on a long thing that I'll attach to this game thread when it's done.

Lines are Wizards by 3.5 and 194 on the total points.

Game's on ESPN, and Jamison will be back.  For the scoreboard watchers out there, Cleveland hosts New Jersey, Philly hosts the Pistons, and the Raptors host Milwaukee.

UPDATE: Also, make sure you check out TAI's interview with Jeff from Celtics Blog as well as the rest of his game preview.

Wiz, under
c'mon Boston, phone this one in...

Picks
Boston
Under

Hoping that Boston pulls their foot off the accelerator at this point in the season, but not counting on it.

Picks
Wiz, under. Hoping Boston big three don't play very much but not sure if they feel they have something to prove given the two games we won.

Geez
Our offense is unstoppable right now (that was an awful call on Caron).

It says something about our defense that we're only up 5 right now (and that's the subject of another post tonight).

I liked that
Gilbert gets steals, but then drops it off to Butler and Blatche on consecutive fast breaks instead of scoring.

The second one might have been the wrong play, but I really like the mentality here.

Yup
I liked that too.

Looks like Arenas is putting a lot of effort into assimilating into the current team dynamic.  Trying to build a rapport as one who will not need the ball as much as before.

However, he needs to find some role on defense before the playoffs.  At times he looks a little lost/confused.

Anyone notice
AD's wrist brace?

Yep -
and what is wrong with Deshawn's arm? I haven't been able to keep up with all of the injuries. A poster on Wiz insider said both AD and CB will have wrist surgery after the season. I knew about AD but CB needs it too?

Damn
They can't stop us offensively.

This is a fun game.
I like the intensity, even if they still have some kinks (Arenas's role) to work out. Jamison's drive and slam around Garnett was badass - you know he wants this game when he starts dunking on people

AJ -
I can't believe on Monday - he couldn't even lift his arm and he's out there playing. The guy is just a warrior who plays hard every game.

Doesn't CB have bone chips in his wrist?

At least it's the left wrist for both of them.

Just switched to ESPN
Are they calling Darius "Songalia?"

Antonn Jamison must be pissed.

Let's see 'em try and pronounce that behemoth of a name.

Last time our differential was 0.0 it was +0.0.  Now it's -0.0.
