Tonight's Lines
Wizards at Magic: Magic by 5.5
Over/Under on Total Scoring: 202

Everyone's locked into their playoff positioning, so I doubt this game will be of much real importance.  The only question on our side is whether the wounded soldiers (Caron, DeShawn, etc) will play in tonight's game.  I personally think they shouldn't, for the record.

On another note, if the Wizards win tonight, they will have only had a losing head-to-head record against one Eastern Conference team (Detroit).  Who knows how much that means, but that would definitely be a nice accomplishment.

Get ready for lots of Nick Young posterizing J.J. Redick.  At least I hope so.

This is an open game thread, so salute the first-ever BF 2.0 game thread.  The live commenting feature is pretty sick, so I imagine there will be more conversation than usual.

Correct me if I'm wrong

But weren’t we (regrettably) 1-2 against the Knicks this year?

Yes we lost to NY twice

on 1/15 and 2/19.

I don’t want Deshawn to play tonight at all but I’m okay with limited minutes for Gil, AJ and Caron.

Picks – Wiz, under

I meant to say

We have a winning record against every East playoff team other than Detroit.

My fault

You know you'll get devoured by Cheaney, Wallace, and Juwan Howard.

Assuming everyone plays their ‘scrubs’ I see the Wiz, under.

I’ll still watch the game. I’d rather not study for my finals. Go Bullets.

By the way, if I make millions one day, I want to buy the Wizards and change their name BACK to the Bullets… Anyone have any objections to that?

Cheers to that

I’ll go with Wiz, Over. I think Deshawn should start, but play a total of 6 minutes or so. Let the guy keep his streak going, it’s damn impressive. Definitely want to see 20-25 for Gil.

I think this will be a high-scoring affair, because with both teams trying to avoid injuries and letting their young guns shine, I expect about as much defense as in a standard all-star game.

Quick Andohbytheway

If you have any ideas for questions, try and get them to me by midnight or so.

Looks like....

Jamison, Butler and Arenas will sit tonight…..D-Song and Andray will get the starting nod.

At least that’s what they’re saying on Comcast.

Another fun stat...

Comcast just reported….

If the Wiz win tonight, they will have gone 8-0 on the road versus division opponents this year.

by Truth About It on Apr 16, 2008 6:50 PM EDT   0 recs

Did I just see that?

Please tell me Comcast did not just run the Pivotal Play of the Game graphic with six minutes left in the first quarter.

Although I have to admit that seeing the play involve Taser was pretty awesome.

Just got here

Is Orlando playing all their starters? Because if so, it’s mighty impressive we’re tied without any of our Big 3.

You know you'll get devoured by Cheaney, Wallace, and Juwan Howard.

Kinda Sorta

Arroyo started instead of Nelson, who is not playing….but Magic reserves have received considerable time, especially in this 3rd quarter.

I was just about to say

Orlando’s lineup right now kind of sucks.

You know you'll get devoured by Cheaney, Wallace, and Juwan Howard.

I like Young's aggressivness

He’s not settling for the jumper, at least not on both chances he had this possession.

You know you'll get devoured by Cheaney, Wallace, and Juwan Howard.
