LeBron Logic

Here is what LeBaby had to say about a first round matchup against the Wizards:

Cavaliers star LeBron James, who was called "overrated" by Wizards guard DeShawn Stevenson following the March 13 meeting, was asked about the matchup Sunday afternoon.

"Yeah, that is so fun, I'm excited," James said sarcastically. "I wanted to play someone else, but if we have to play somebody, I'm glad it's Washington."

Not only does his comments make him out to be an even bigger jerk, but that last sentence has got to be one of the dumbest quotes I've read in a long time.  LeBron could have really used a year of college.  Especially if that year contained at least one English class.

Yo! This represents the view of the user who wrote the FanPost, and not the entire Bullets Forever community. We're a place of many opinions, not just one.

Time to Super Man that Hoe
I never though I would want to listen to Soulja Boy again.
What? They don't have TV in the D-League? Don't watch me, watch TV.

You don't need college
To plow into people, take 7 steps then shoot a basketball and get an And 1. Speech is overrated when you are that "good."

you don't need college but you do need intelligence

He wanted to play someone else BUT if he had to play someone he’s glad that he’s playing the team he didn’t want to play? What a frigging moron. How are you glad to play someone when you initially say you wanted to play someone else? This is exactly why he gets on my nerves – he’s an idiot. Deshawn is now my favorite player of all time – unless of course LeBron goes off for 35 points a game while he’s guarding him.

I Don't Care If LeBron Goes For 35 Points a Game...

... as long as he does it on 40% shooting or less and the rest of the Cavs are held in check. All I care about is the final score at the end of each game.

All I want is a win

My point is if Deshawn lets Lebron go off on him after talking all that trash, Deshawn will soon have to learn to shut up. If Deshawn holds LeBron in check then kudos to him and maybe Deshawn can call the Celtics overrated.

Ouch

I know I’m behind enemy lines but that seems particularly harsh. Don’t be hatin’ on LB. What he has done with his life is extraordinary.

No Hate

I’m not hating on anybody. The fact of the matter is that LeBron started this whole trash talk thing when he said something about one of DeShawn’s girlfriends (former?) to teammate Drew Gooden, who passed the info onto DeShawn after Gooden got traded to the Bulls. See my post here for more information. That makes LeBron out to be a real jerk in my opinion. DeShawn doesn’t have a history of talking trash to anybody. He knows that he is just an average NBA player and is not in LeBron’s league (actually, he is technically in LeBron’s league, but you know what I mean). But LeBron felt it necessary to insult him both as a player and as a man.

Then, LeBron goes and makes his dismissive comments that I quoted above. I merely pointed out that it makes LeBron look like a bigger jerk than I already thought and that his last sentence makes Yogi Berra sound like an eloquent orator. I don’t disrespect LeBron’s game or what he has done with his life. He is a great player. He steps up and wills his team to victory in the clutch, as he proved on Saturday. He is also a great rags-to-riches story that is sure to inspire a lot of people. I would just appreciate it if he gave my favorite team the respect that I feel they deserve.
