Eurotrip 2008!

It's official: The Wizards are going to do preseason in Europe next year.

IC and MJ both confirmed it today.  I find it interesting that Mike decided to ask Gilbert about the trip.  Either Gilbert was just the first person he could find, or he's very sure that Gilbert will be back next year.

By the way, anyone here from Wizards Insider, welcome.  We hope you stick around.

Sam Smith is at it again.
He proclaims that Wiz don't want Arenas back and suggests that Chicago should do a sign and trade for Arenas (pu-pu platter of something along the lines of Hinrich, Thomas, Gooden)http://chicagosports.chicagotribune.com/sports/columnists/cs-080327-gilbert-arenas-chicago-bulls-smi th,1,4685313.column?page=2

Meh
He's just thinking out loud.  I wouldn't read too much into it.

P.S., this would be better as a diary than a comment.  More people could notice it and it'd be easier to discuss.

Predicting how this squad is going to perform is like trying to solve trig problems with pen and paper. -sierradave.

Wizards definitely want Arenas back
Grunfeld has repeatedly said so. I was on a chat on Wed for planholders with Grunfeld and I don't think he is planning on making any major roster moves and he said the plan is to resign Arenas and Jamison. I'm waiting for permission from the Wiz and then I'll hopefully be able to post a transcript of the chat as a diary. Sam Smith has also accepted a buyout so hopefully his ridiculous trade proposals will go away.
