Tonight's Lines
Clippers at Wizards: Wizards by 12.5
Over/Under on Total Scoring: 192

I might not be around until game time (if not later) so everyone gets an early game thread today.

I think the line for tonight's game pretty much says it all.  The Clippers are probably the only team in the NBA that can claim they've had to deal with more injuries this year than anyone else.  Elton Brand has been out all year after tearing his ACL, Smush Parker has essentially replaced Sam Cassell who was bought out of his contract last month, Chris Kaman has had to deal with back problems recently, and as you may remember Shaun Livingston hasn't played since that horrific knee injury he suffered last year.  Put it all together and it's led to a very tough year for Clippers fans.  One of the bright spots this season has been rookie Al Thornton who's been a steady contributor all season.

There isn't any reason that the Wizards should lose this game tonight, considering they already beat them on the road when they were without Caron and the Clippers had Kaman.  As long as there aren't any ill effects from Caron's par-tay on Thursday night/Friday morning (you can get a good recap of the fun here) than everything should go fine.

This is an open thread, so if you know what movie Pooh Richardson played a role in, drop your knowledge here.

GO WIZARDS!

I'm never comfortable with a double digit line, but alas, that's what we're dealing with here.

Wizards
Over

Oh, and I should mention that Seth isn't allowed to answer the trivia.  That's all.

This is why there is a good chance we may lose tonight.  Also-I'm thrilled to have Caron back.

I just can't take the Wiz against that line.  We could blow 'em out and play reserves against reserves for the last 3 minutes and still only win by 11.

Also, I'll say it again.  PHILLY CANNOT OVERTAKE US IN THE STANDINGS.  It's a quality-of-life issue, folks.  You don't know what sort of shit I'll take from people in my neighborhood!

Sort of Again
Caron's playing (wrist), Brendan's not (knee tendinitis, according to EG, and Arenas is having an MRI Monday or Tuesday and could play Wednesday.

30 seconds left
Down by three.  Three Clippers have five fouls.

Someone explain to me why the F*CK we're having Jamison take a contested three in this spot.

Seriously, I need some help on this one.  Every one of their offensive options has five fouls.  Drive to the hoop.

Embarrasing.

30 seconds later
Those contested threes by Jamison are looking pretty good.

There's a difference, though
Even if they pull this off, I still have a terrible taste in my mouth about this game.  He hit a three and the three free throws when those were the only options to stay in the game.  With 30 seconds left, you can go for the easy two, try to draw a foul and knock one of their scoring options out of the game.

That said, nice turnaround!

WOW
NO business winning this one - but I'm happy. Give Jamison all the credit for this one!
