Open thread: Regular season game 28 vs. Oklahoma City Thunder

Oklahoma City Thunder at Washington Wizards, Dec 27, 2008 7:00 PM EST

I just drove from Martha's Vineyard back home to DC and got back to find out that Caron Butler isn't playing tonight because of an ankle sprain on some unknown play against Cleveland.  Ivan says he doubts it's serious, which means he'll be out for two months most likely.

Game's now.  We need to beat Oklahoma City at home, even without Caron.

GO WIZARDS!

Nick Young to start.....

What’s the odds on him trying to do too much…..I’ll put them at 7-2.

Anyone here?

You all have better things to do than watch two teams that have combined for seven wins all season? Shame on you.

You know you'll get devoured by Cheaney, Wallace, and Juwan Howard.

These clubs must rank pretty low in the fast break points per fast break category…

Ugh...so who's Etan going to come in for?

McGee or Songaila?

Interesting move in any case.

Blocks were nice but it really looks like he has no idea what he’s doing. A better offensive player would have drawn the foul on those

How is Javaris Crittenton not in this game?

When DeShawn Stevenson can’t do anything.

Bad

The bad part about that is that ET will play him major minutes for the next 7 games….

Regardless of sub patterns

At least we are playing like a team, even if it is against the Thunder.

True.

McGee has his strength issues, but we gotta find a way to keep him on the court and deterring in the lane on D.

Simple as not putting Etan in

Decent game be damned.

Nice offense

It’s easy to do that against Oklahoma City, but you have to love how under control everyone is.

Of course, if the first play wasn’t working so often, we’d tell a different tale.

Guess Tapscott just trusts Dixon more

Can’t exactly blame him.
