Pointing fingers

When a season goes sour sometimes players point fingers at each other and question each other's effort

This is a new one on me.  Someone pointing fingers at himself!

"I don't feel I gave 101 percent of effort rebounding," said Blatche, pointing to his two rebounds as evidence. "We've got to step it up. That's what killing us. We had the game tied and we just didn't rebound or play defense. Rebounding is just effort. I didn't rebound, so I didn't give that much effort.

Antawn Does This a Lot

Consider this quote from Antawn after the Boston Massacre.

“The thing that really upset us was the effort that we played with: Those guys pushing us around, being physical. And we just sat back and took it, even me,” Jamison said. “We just took it. They hit first and we didn’t do anything about it. . . . Right now, we’re not bringing it like we should.”

Right

I guess I just found this one by AB particularly funny.

Looks like he’s ready to step up and be a leader in his own locker.

DeShawn was definitely feeling his face on that play.

of course the players are getting fatigued...

you can’t play Butler and Jamison THAT many minutes and expect them to be fresh in the 4th…
