You know, it could've been worse...
Full disclosure: I didn't get to see this one live. I had to attend to some school business tonight so I haven't gotten a chance to look at the tape for this one yet, but just taking a look at the boxscore, I've got three quick thoughts on tonight's game:
- At least the Magic only shot 33% from behind the 3 point line.
- At least the Wizards were able to keep Howard to only 31 points and 16 rebounds.
- At least the game was decided early, so Caron Butler and Antawn Jamison didn't have to play 40+ minutes tonight.
If that's not a sad commentary on the season to date, I'm not sure what is.

Well, you did not miss much, Jake!
Last year I would often, no, make that almost always, wake up in the middle of the nite here in Europe to follow a Wizards game on ESPN game track. Now I sleep in, wake at a normal hour, wash up, have breakfast and THEN go to the computer to find what fresh hell awaits…
Gee, I thought everyone was supposed to have fun in the Magic Kingdom!

UGH
i wish I could go to sleep until Gil returns. Then at least they’d be watchable.

I've officially-
abandoned my mantra of ‘well they were 0-5 last year too and turned it around’. We are the worst team in the league and it’s going to get worse before it gets better. Now I’m consoling myself with – ‘well I could be living in Seattle and not have a team.’. I miss Haywood.
