Bucks

PG: Luke Ridnour
SG: Michael Redd
SF: "Thomas" Jefferson
PF: Charlie Villanueva
C: Andrew Bogut

Tonight's Lines

Wizards at Bucks: Bucks by 1
Over/Under on Total Scoring: 189

I'm heading out the door, but I'll be back by around 8:45-9 to watch the rest of this one.  In the meantime, begin chatting here.

I'm working on a longer post about Andray Blatche that'll hopefully be posted tomorrow.  To summarize: he's not Kwame, he has his own complex issues.

There's no reason why we can't win tonight.  Milwaukee's not very good and they don't play defense yet.  We really could use this one and I'll be pissed if we lose.

GO WIZARDS!

Blatche starting.

link

Coach Eddie Jordan on deciding to start Blatche, who played only four minutes in Saturday’s loss at Detroit: “I know it’s a little bit of a far cry from the minutues he carried in Detroit but it’s another opportunity and let’s see if he seizes the moment.”

More Eddie on Andray: “We want it to sort of jump start him for the remainder of the season. Not just a flash tonight. We want him to give great effort and play his role and carry it to tomorrow’s practice and the weekend.”

by Aldo on Nov 5, 2008 7:31 PM EST reply reply actions actions   0 recs

And here...we...go

This could be huge for the rest of the season. If Andray seizes this opportunity, it could serve as a major confidence boost for Andray and Eddie Jordan. On the other hand, if Andray doesn’t show up, he’ll be so far in Eddie’s doghouse that he might never get out.

Agreed

Big chance for Blatche. I think he’ll step to the plate – though he’s been a bit immature this year I’m guessing deep down he wants to prove Eddie wrong and this is his chance to do it.

Getting buckets since 2003.

Sidenote

I like how CSN goes out of their way to emphasize that it’s Philosophy 45 so that CBS doesn’t come and sue them out of the water.

Orange

I really really really want that orange Arenas Jersey from like 2 years ago. That was awesome.

Same here

In addition, I’d be thrilled if they brought back the 90’s era Bullets jerseys. They were ridiculously plain, but you just develop a special attachment to whatever uniform you grow up seeing in action.

I loved the 78 throwbacks

If I could find a Butler jersey in that vintage, I might cough up the scratch to get it.
