Dear Dagger,

We need you. Hell, I need you. I'm a mess without you. I miss you so damn much. I miss being with you, I miss being near you. I miss your laugh. I miss your scent; I miss your musk. When this all gets sorted out, I think you and me should get an apartment together.

Sincerely,

Steve Buckhantz

Game time at 7:00 pm people, talk it up.

Speaking of Buck

Hope we don’t hear this tonight: (Make sure to click on the picture with your sound on).

At least if we get that

It means it was a close game…

I am sorry but I had to laugh when I heard that

The good old Siegel Center (went to VCU), where the Wizards’ season started to come a cropper.

I have to say

I was out of the country for a few weeks, and despite their record, I’m excited to watch the Wizards again.

Blech

Steve’s saying Eddie is searching for rhythm and harmony. Might be easier if you had a consistent rotation.

$40 minimum to sit in the upper deck

Why do the Wizards

always try to get Etan Thomas going when the game starts? It seems he’s the main option in the post for the few possessions. Is there a reason?

I think we need to start him

Because otherwise we must one of the only teams in the league that doesn’t have a starting guard that can take people off the dribble.

Agreed

It’s not as much fun with Buckhantz and Chenier when the Wizards are playing so bad…

by Matt K. on Nov 18, 2008 7:19 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

I'll never understand why Marion was so unhappy on the Suns

I don’t know if I can count 5 times where I’ve ever seen him create his own shot off the dribble.

He's mercurial.

It’s not supposed to make sense.

by Jon L on Nov 18, 2008 7:23 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

Nothing but a money thing

Because of how much credit Nash got, I think Marion wanted out because he thought he wouldn’t get the max otherwise and he thought he deserved more credit for the Suns success.

True, but he wants just as big a deal

and it is my opinion that he felt he wouldn’t get it if he stayed in Phoenix. Plus he’s a dope.

by George Templeton on Nov 18, 2008 7:27 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

I kind of disagree

I don’t think it was about the money. I think it was that he had to cover for both Nash and Amare on defense and he never got any credit for it.

Of course, they made his life a zillion times easier offensively, so he was being a goof.

I read :07 Seconds or Less by Jack McCallum

And Marion just seemed so much different than everyone else on the Suns. He always wanted more credit, so that definitely played a huge part in that, no question.

No matter what the coaches, team captains, or fans say this team will not win on a regular basis unless everybody on the team takes it upon themselves to go out and play their best. Period.

Stop watching them, unless these players are paying you dont watch them, why spend 2 and half hours to be disappointed at HOME by garbage. This team should just be completely removed from the NBA. I unfortunately will watch more games be disappointed and break more random objects in my house. I used to not have hopes to make it to playoffs (no way in hell there going this year) but thought atleast they could compete with rival teams (cavs) BUT no way all there doing this season is proving there fucking garbage fuck the wizards and since thats my team then fuck the nba because theres no reason to watch these spoiled rotton egotistical assholes play…

Stop cursing

And please calm down.

You know you'll get devoured by Cheaney, Wallace, and Juwan Howard.

I watch because I want to.

I’m not going to stop supporting my favorite team because they’re struggling. True, it’s tough to watch, but all you can do is keep cheering and hoping that something changes.

A few more alley oops from McGee wouldn’t hurt either.

Stop supporting?

I am going to continue supporting them as well, but just realize they are the worst team in the NBA and be prepared to be laughed at when you tell people you like them. Also realize they are not making it to the playoff. A few alley oops wouldnt hurt? It would lead to turnovers which has hurt. You dont know how many times I have defended my team from Cav fans, I have almost fought someone over my team lol (I would never actually do that) and this is how im repaid.

Go Wizards

Umm
just realize they are the worst team in the NBA and be prepared to be laughed at when you tell people you like them.

If this were true, how is it different from, oh I don’t know, practically every year from 1991 to 1996 and from 1999 to 2004?

You know you'll get devoured by Cheaney, Wallace, and Juwan Howard.

First of all, click reply

Second of all, make sense.

Third of all, what exactly are you saying? You said prepare to be laughed at for calling yourself a fan of this team, because they suck. I’m saying they’ve often sucked in the past and I’ve been a fan, so what difference does it make?

You know you'll get devoured by Cheaney, Wallace, and Juwan Howard.
