"If this was eight games before the playoffs, and i had to play, I'd be playing. I'm at the same spot where I was last year when I came back that Milwaukee game. So, if I had to, had to play, I would just do it. I don't know if it would hold up or not, though."
Gilbert Arenas via "Grunfeld confident, Gil still progressing" - Wizards Outlet
Mike Jones of the Washington Times has a pretty good update on Wizards Outlet -- evidently Gilbert played Nick Young one-on-one last week, and embarrassed Nick in winning by one point.

Practice -
I went to open practice today, Tapscott was MC. He said Gilbert is still not ready to have contact drills and there is no timeline on his return. They are definitely not hitting the panic button yet in spite of the 5 losses. They aren’t overly concerned about the poor free throw shooting – Tapscott says it takes time for players to get into a rhythm. There was a Hopla sighting – he actually is alive. Hopefully the players will take advantage of this. Tapscott said that they worked on transition defense and 3 point defense during the film session that morning. My impression is that it’s not bad coaching but very poor execution. Daniels didn’t practice – worked on the bike. My impression is that tomorrow’s starting five will be AJ, CB, JD, ET and DS. Second unit – NY, JM, DM, AB, DB. But I could be way wrong.

If you liked it.
You know you'll get devoured by Cheaney, Wallace, and Juwan Howard.

One of the things that was such a roadblock last season was that tingling pain in the knee. It remained up until that third surgery in September, but is now completely gone, Agent Zero said.
That “tingling pain” was probably some floating debris in the knee. Stuff will float around in there and cause irritation and pain – especially with exercise and stress.
Hopefully, Gilbert will completely rehab to near 100% before he tries another comeback. The last thing we need is Arenas coming back early to try to “save” a floundering team.
