With the Clippers beating the Mavericks last night, the Wizards are now the sole proprietors of last place in the NBA.

You're probably thinking to yourself, "Could it be any worse right now?" My answer to you is yes, yes it could be.

Did you mean the Lions... Or the errors in that article?

I get it that American football does not get the top billing to our neighbors up North, but seriously did MS not license those crazy Canucks spell check? (I just copied and pasted this into Outlook to make sure).

“defence”
“Culepper”
“David Garrod”

Compared to the Lions and Wiz, this author/editor get my pick for 0’fers.

Maybe they’re all starr PG is oot wit a knee injery at Camwest. Or may bee they have Matt Millan runnng the show up der. Aye!

Good heavens man

Yes, the Lions have it worse, but no one has expected them to be good for at least a decade now (or whenever #20 – the greated RB of all time – hung it up). On the other hand, we were expected to contend for a top 4 seed before the injuries and a playoff seed even with – at this point .500 seems like a pipe dream. It’s been a rollercoaster ride, which I would argue is worse than a steady stream of mediocrity. (And yes, I know that the Lions were actually “decent” for the first part of last year, but did anyone actually take them seriously for those 6 games or so?)

Getting buckets since 2003.

Well look at it this way

If the Lions and Wizards both end up with the top pick in their respective drafts, who do you trust to make the better draft pick?

Actually, don’t answer that.

How possible is it for the Wiz to sign McDyess?

We could certainly use his veteran experience in the frontcourt

I would say it's impossible...

For McDyess to choose to sign with the Wizards…..cat wants a playoff contender.

lottery pick, baby

Things are so bad that they could be out of playoff contention by the time Arenas gets back (if he does).

That Would Have to Be Really Bad

Considering that Arenas could be back by early December. I don’t think any team will be out of playoff contention by then.

culpepper

what would be the NBA equivalent of the lions bringing in daunte culpepper to play qb?

by joshp on Nov 10, 2008 10:27 PM EST reply actions   0 recs

You mean a player who used to be great, coming out of retirement, to play for a really bad franchise? Hmmm.
