Pollin' - Who needs to buy some new "fashion" jeans?

I wanted to get this poll up before a decision was actually made, but as you can see by Jake's Fan Shot below, JaVale McGee will be starting the season on the inactive list, along with the injured Gilbert Arenas and the injured Brendan Haywood.

The Pradamaster has expressed his opinion on the subject, and I'm sure others may disagree with the decision......well, here's your chance to let Wizards Nation know.

As I cross my fingers that that Andray Blatche flicks the switch and shows that the preseason was an aberration.

I voted Pecherov

but I don’t hate the Wizards’ decision. Unless it’s tied to their extending Pech’s contract, and they want to showcase him for a trade, because I don’t see teams clamoring to get him.

Pech

I voted for Pech – but McGee is a good choice for sitting out the first game. He IS the rookie this year, after all.

My guess is that Eddie Jordan will use the inactive list (when there are no injuries) as a motivating tool. If Pech doesn’t practice hard – he’ll be sitting. If McGuire doesn’t bring any energy – he sits. If Blatche needs a smackdown – he’ll sit.

I get it.... but

I think Pech’s minutes may be determined not by how many 3-point shots he makes, but how well he defends and rebounds.

If we had been voting

JaVale would now be on some other team’s inactive list.
