So...Nick Young and Dominic McGuire

I'll have more tomorrow, but for now, this is the postdraft thread. Post any thoughts on the new draft picks.

I will say that I'd give Ernie a solid B+ on the matter. I can't argue with Young or McGuire at their spots. I would have liked to see a big in the second round (maybe Aaron Gray), but you're not going to get a big guy who can step in at 47 anyway.

Meh

I'm happy with Nick Young, but really would have preferred to take Marc Gasol on as a project. You can't teach tall, and a lot of decent centers end up getting drafted late.

Bigger question is where's the Big Move? We need to unload at least one center and don't have the cash to be a player in free agency. I really thought something big was brewing. It might still be, but with the draft passing without incident, that becomes less likely.

i would go one step further and give ernie an A-. Young is a solid pick, and McGuire has the athleticism to be an interesting second round project, a lot like Andray Blatche was.
