Sam Mitchell?
There has been a lot of anti-Eddie Jordan sentiment lately, and while calls for his firing may have some merit, the main argument against this was the lack of a suitable replacement. What if Sam Mitchell became available? I'm not advocating anything, but would anyone be in favor of a Mitchell for Jordan swap?

don't think so
I think it says something about Mitchell's coaching ability that Colangelo has yet to offer him an extension. I trust Colangelo's (who is probably the best GM in the league) opinion about his coach then the fact that the Raptors got hot and won a title in a weak division.
While I respect Sam Mitchell as a coach, I'm not entirely sure that he is an upgrade over EJ as a coach. We were competing in the Eastern conference for over half the season until injuries really derailed the season. While I'm not saying that the team would have won the conference, but we should have won the division title and I expect that trend to continue next year with some roster upgrades.

Well said
Mitchell seems destined to have a career like Rick Carlisle; very good coach, but not someone who can get you a championship. Eddie's very much the same way, his rotations notwithstanding.
