Video Correspondent: Because 2-0 is Nothing

Stay connected for news and updates

In recent years, Adidas has been big on their "Impossible is Nothing" campaign of which Gilbert is now the main spokesperson.  If you don't believe me, just check out Adidas's myspace.  Hopefully as Gil develops in this role someone can teach him to stand still while he talks, not that I ever did that or anything.

Anyways, I bring up Gilbert's role in this campaign because the Wizards have been written off already in this series and now that they've gone down 2-0, the naysayers look like they're being proven correct.  So with this time I want to try and hopefully inspire you to believe that being down by 2 games, is nothing.

We've all seen Gil's ad which made Both Teams Played Hard's list of the 50 greatest basketball commercials of all time.  What you might not know, is that Arenas isn't the only athlete to have a commercial like this.  In fact, several other athletes that endorse Adidas have been in similar commercials.

Alyson Felix:

David Beckham:

Jeremy Wariner:

Yelena Isinbayeva:

Jonah Lomu:

Lionel Messi:

St. Margarets

If those commercials weren't enough to convince you, then remember this: a 2-0 series deficit has been overcome many times before.  Even in a best of 5 series.  Not only has it been done before, but it's been done by the Wizards.  Just in case you forgot, this was the deciding game:
