But because it's after a certain date, you can't buy out his contract, meaning Houston still owns his rights until that one-year contract runs out at the end of the season.

So basically, unless you're someone like Scottie Pippen and you aren't under contract with any team, it's too late to get someone after a buyout.

You know you'll get devoured by Cheaney, Wallace, and Juwan Howard.
